01Client Brief & Reference
The client supplied a front-view reference for an approx. 20 cm plush hamster, with the overall appearance and key facial details already defined. This became the starting point for three-dimensional development.
CASE STUDY
Starting from a client-supplied front-view hamster artwork, Silverwood defined the missing three-dimensional views and translated the agreed design direction into an approx. 20 cm pre-production plush sample.

The project focused on preserving the hamster’s recognisable expression and overall proportions while defining the side and rear profiles, body volume, construction details and embroidered facial features for sampling.

Custom Plush Hamster · Approx. 20 cm
The client’s initial reference mainly defined the hamster’s front appearance. The side profile, rear shape, body depth and limb placement still needed to be interpreted before sampling, without losing the expression and proportions that made the design recognisable.
Silverwood developed front, three-quarter and rear views to establish the hamster’s three-dimensional form and key proportions. Once the visual direction was agreed, the sample team translated the design into sewn plush construction and refined body volume, cheek shape, limb positioning, colour areas and facial embroidery during physical sampling.
01The client supplied a front-view reference for an approx. 20 cm plush hamster, with the overall appearance and key facial details already defined. This became the starting point for three-dimensional development.
02Because the original reference mainly showed the front, additional front, three-quarter and rear views were developed to define body depth, side profile, rear volume and limb positioning before physical sampling.
03The agreed design direction was translated into a physical plush construction. During sampling, the team reviewed and refined the overall silhouette, body volume, cheek shape, belly area, limb placement and embroidered facial details in real three-dimensional form.
04The completed sample was sent to the client for physical review. After receiving it, the client responded: “I just received the sample. They are great.”
