From Art Sculpture to Custom Plush

Starting from a client’s exhibited art sculpture, Silverwood translated its complex three-dimensional form into an approx. 15-inch custom plush product through consultation, structural prototyping, material and colour development, and print and embroidery artwork.

The project involved more than reproducing the sculpture’s appearance. Its rigid three-dimensional structure, segmented body, multiple wing forms, colour relationships and decorative details had to be reinterpreted in soft materials while retaining the visual identity of the original artwork.

Plush Hamster Development

Starting from a client-supplied front-view hamster artwork, Silverwood defined the missing three-dimensional views and translated the agreed design direction into an approx. 20 cm pre-production plush sample.

The project focused on preserving the hamster’s recognisable expression and overall proportions while defining the side and rear profiles, body volume, construction details and embroidered facial features for sampling.

Motion-Enabled Plush Puppy for Japan

A Japanese-market plush puppy combining an internal motion mechanism with careful material, colour and facial-detail development.

From concept to final approval, the project moved through structural planning, material matching and focused sample revisions. The final version was approved for market promotion and the project moved into order placement.
